The design for Rome’s new main post office was one of several postal buildings completed under RPA’s ongoing contract with the United States Postal Service.

Although the USPS maintains prototypical standards for each of its post office facilities, including a standard interior, the Rome location features a contemporary design with several unique elements.

Design details include:

• Entry tower defining the entry
• Horizontal expression to the storefront and brick
• Striking dark bronze accents

Space configured for this location includes a retail lobby, administrative offices, workroom, credit union, and support spaces.
