This facility manufactures wood pellets and is located in Woodville, Texas. RPA collaborated with Spitzner (RPA’s German counterpart) and Evans General Contractors throughout the design and completion of this project for the Germany-based German Pellets Group.

The production campus consists of multiple buildings and specialized operations:

• Raw timber is received through an onsite weigh station and staged in two log lay-down yards prior to processing.
• A fully automated processing line guides the raw material through various proprietary machinery installations.
• Automation and processes are monitored and controlled at a central three-story production office building and finishing facility.
• The final wood pellet product is housed in silos until being transported via truck to the new GP Port Arthur, Texas ocean shipping facility.
