Alex S. Paulson
President
Alex co-founded Randall-Paulson Architects in 1993. He is a graduate of Ga Tech and has over forty years of experience in design, production of contract documents, and administration of construction contracts focusing primarily in hospitality, retail, office, mixed-use, and special commercial projects, and has been responsible for the design and renovation of several award-winning commercial projects. His high energy, passion and attention to detail brings a fresh and exciting approach to all aspects of design and running an architectural business. He enjoys connecting people and making new relationships.
Alex is a member of the American Institute of Architects, International Council of Shopping Centers, the Urban Land Institute, the Roswell Historic District Preservation Commission, Roswell CVB, and Roswell NEXT. He is proud to serve and support several local nonprofit organizations including Sunshine on a Ranney Day, The Drake House, CHOA, the Ronald MacDonald House and Open Hand Atlanta. Outside of work, you will find Alex enjoying life with his friends and family and traveling.

Barbara Bailey is a Human Resources professional with over 15 years of experience managing all aspects of the HR function. As RPA’s Human Resources Manager, she is responsible for employee relations, leadership development, performance management, compensation, benefits and payroll. Barbara is certified as a SHRM Professional (SHRM-CP) and Group Benefits Associate (GBA).
Barbara is passionate about creating a positive and productive work environment where employees can thrive.

Brian is an experienced architectural designer and project coordinator in the construction industry. His education and experience has provided him the knowledge and real-world application to meet and exceed the professional demands of various clients and types of projects. Brian has more than ten years of experience in the field of architecture and construction, and understands all aspects that a project entails from schematic design to project closeout. Brian has worked on various project types from new construction, renovations, and rebranding. Project types include Residential, Religious, Commercial, Retail, Industrial, Government, and Healthcare.
As a Senior Project Leader at RPA, Brian is responsible for the project from design to final punch list. He is responsible for project coordination with the client, contractors, and consultants on a daily basis. Some of Brian’s additional responsibilities include client meetings, bidding, site visits, field reports, pay applications, internal quality control, and scratch bidding.
Brian is a member of NCARB (National Council of Architectural Registration Boards).

Heather is also an active member of NAIOP, IIDA, and CREW.

Hoa has been with Randall-Paulson Architects for over ten years. Starting with an internship position to Senior Project Leader, he has been working on large and small retail shopping centers, Publix Super Markets canopies, and office buildings. Hoa is synergic with the design team and a collaborative coordinator with engineers.
Hoa holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Southern Polytechnic State University and is currently studying for the ARE. He moved to the United States with his family in 1994 and is bilingual – Vietnamese and English.

Jason is a graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University. At RPA he is managing all project types and phases from conceptual design through construction document production and project completion. Jason has experience coordinating with project managers and engineers throughout at all project stages. He also has experience coordinating with city and county plan reviewers during the permitting process. Jason is a LEED Accredited Professional and applies his experience in a holistic approach to energy-efficient and sustainable building design.

Jeff has more than 10 years of experience working in a variety of roles, from initial client input meetings to on-site construction administration. As Senior Project Leader, Jeff is responsible for the coordination and completion of details ranging from pre-design to the finish punch list. He works closely with the civil, mechanical, structural and electrical engineers to see that all requirements are met for each individual project.
Jeff is an active volunteer with Sunshine on a Ranney Day (SOARD) which provides room and bathroom makeover to disabled kids in need. He also enjoys serving the community by volunteering with local STEM programs to teach and educate about Architecture. He also serves in his local church which provides a wide range of service opportunities.

Jesse is known for his creative use of modern yet timeless sophisticated aesthetic. He exudes a strong, outgoing professional charisma and brings this enthusiasm into every project.

John has over thirty years of experience in the construction industry, with two-thirds of that time being design-focused primarily on industrial, manufacturing, cold-storage, and distribution facilities. As Studio Director, he is responsible for and has overview of all sectors of work in the office. John effectively coordinates diverse project teams with complex projects and has the ability and experience to organize and disseminate large amounts of information to and between clients, consultants, contractors, and RPA staff.
With a specialization in tilt-up construction, he understands the issues associated with tilt, is knowledgeable in all aspects of and consistently pushes the design limits inherent to this building typology. As a Principal in the firm, John takes a lead role in not only ensuring continued high client satisfaction but also in growing RPA’s client base, and geographic reach, as well as further developing the professional and design acumen of RPA’s architects and designers.
Outside of the office, John’s primary creative outlet is exploring color and texture as an abstract artist. In addition to painting, his other creative pursuits include photography, furniture design, music, writing, and the study of Stoic philosophy.

Marcus has over 20 years of experience in architecture with a focus on mixed-use and retail projects. He is the Architect responsible for overseeing all commercial projects from feasibility studies, concept design through completion. He has been involved in a variety of project types, like master planning, breweries, hotels, mall retrofits, mixed-use developments in walkable communities. He has valuable experience in historically sensitive areas.
As the Studio Designer, Marcus passion for good design and creative solutions is a source for the entire studio. An avid sketcher, his pencil drawings and watercolors are often the medium he uses to convey his ideas. He believes good design is also sustainable and healthy. A LEED AP BD+C accredited professional, Marcus has been a US Green Building Council member since 2007.
Actively involved in the community, Marcus was part of the Advisory Committee for the City of Roswell Historic District Masterplan and has been a longtime member of the City of Roswell Design Review Board.

Sabrina has over twenty years of administrative experience with seventeen of those years in the Architectural Industry. She is an Associate in the firm and has earned her Society for Design Administration (SDA) Fellowship.
In her role at RPA, she oversees administration operations for the firm. Within that role, she is the contract administrator and office manager. Throughout her tenure in the company, she has worked with marketing, finance, project administration, strategic planning, and leadership. She is the Executive Assistant to the Principals of RPA and helps to maintain the Open-Book Management philosophy of the firm’s culture.
Outside of the Firm, she has served on a National Level for SDA, a local level for SDA, and many committee positions. She also volunteers for the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and many more.

Zahra has over two decades of experience as an architect, she has successfully completed a wide range of interesting healthcare projects from lobby, exam and administrative space renovations to the design of entire new medical centers. As Healthcare Sector Leader, she oversees all healthcare projects and manages client relationships. Zahra is experienced in the full range of design services from programming to conceptual and preliminary design, through construction documents and construction phase services. In addition to her design qualifications, Zahra is an NCIDQ Accredited Interior Designer and a LEED Accredited Professional, and she incorporates sustainable design strategies in each of her projects. Among Zahra’s strengths is her attention to detail with a particular focus on the specific compliance issues in healthcare work.
