President
As President and co-founder of Randall-Paulson Architects, Alex brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the forefront with his 40-plus years practicing architecture. His high energy, passion, and attention to detail bring a fresh and exciting approach to all aspects of design and running an architectural business. His focus is primarily on hospitality, mixed-use/retail, office, healthcare, and special commercial projects, and is responsible for the design and renovation of several award-winning commercial projects. He enjoys connecting people and making new relationships.
When Alex is not at the office or out meeting folks, he is enjoying life with family and friends and traveling.
In keeping with the RPA culture and spirit of giving back and doing good for the community, Alex serves and supports several local nonprofit organizations including Sunshine on a Ranney Day, The Drake House, CHOA, the Ronald MacDonald House, and Open Hand Atlanta.
Alex is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Urban Land Institute, the Roswell CVB, Roswell NEXT, and a past Commissioner of the Roswell Historic District Preservation Commission.

Ein gebürtiger Deutscher and Georgia Southern University alumni, Alicia is an enthusiastic designer who thrives to create spaces that will positively impact people’s daily environments. She is eager to consistently broaden her knowledge and skill set in the design and architectural field to become the ultimate “Jack of all Trades.” She contributes to all phases of a design, coordinates continuing education opportunities, and contributes to RPA’s cultural initiatives.
In her free time, she is a full-time dog mom to her high-energy GSP mix, and they love enjoying the outdoors together.

With her Masters from Boston Architectural College, she is progressing toward obtaining her license while continuing to expand her skill set.

A native of New Jersey, Andrew has gradually made his way toward warmer weather as he studied architecture at The Catholic University of America in D.C. and then the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Along the way, he has accumulated over seven years of design experience in sectors including multi-family, higher-ed, and healthcare. As a current member of RPA’s manufacturing and industrial teams, Andrew works one-on-one with the client to facilitate designs and deliver an excellent product.
In his free time, he enjoys studying history, backpacking, and exploring Atlanta.

Angelique brings more than seventeen years of design experience with various project types including hospitality, retail, educational, healthcare, mixed-use, high-rise construction, and governmental design work. Angelique effectively coordinates complex projects and has the ability to communicate design intent between owner, client, and consultants successfully.
In her free time, Angelique enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She loves the ocean, the Caribbean scene, taking cruises, and all things boat related.

Anthony received his Master of Architecture from Hampton University. He is a thoughtful designer who focuses on opportunities that can enrich the end user’s experience in the built environment. He contributes to all phases of projects from initial design through the production of construction documents. Anthony’s goal as a Junior Project Leader is to become more efficient at managing projects by successfully coordinating consultants and delivering projects that exceed client’s expectations. His current project focus is in our industrial sector.

Barbara Bailey is a Human Resources professional with over 15 years of experience managing all aspects of the HR function. As RPA’s Human Resources Manager, she is responsible for employee relations, leadership development, performance management, compensation, benefits and payroll. Barbara is certified as a SHRM Professional (SHRM-CP) and Group Benefits Associate (GBA).
Barbara is passionate about creating a positive and productive work environment where employees can thrive.
In her free time, she enjoys taking long walks with her husband, riding bikes, making homemade soap and spending time with her family.

Brian is an experienced architectural designer and project coordinator in the construction industry. His education and experience has provided him the knowledge and real-world application to meet and exceed the professional demands of various clients and types of projects. Brian has more than ten years of experience in the field of architecture and construction, and understands all aspects that a project entails from schematic design to project closeout. Brian has worked on various project types from new construction, renovations, and rebranding. Project types include Residential, Religious, Commercial, Retail, Industrial, Government, and Healthcare.
As a Senior Project Leader at RPA, Brian is responsible for the project from design to final punch list. He is responsible for project coordination with the client, contractors, and consultants on a daily basis. Some of Brian’s additional responsibilities include client meetings, bidding, site visits, field reports, pay applications, internal quality control, and scratch bidding.
Brian is a member of NCARB (National Council of Architectural Registration Boards).

With a family of architects, general contractors, and engineers, Channing developed a passion for design and architecture at a young age. A Cumming native and University of Georgia alumni, Channing has experience in workplace, tenant/landlord, government, education, hospitality, and industrial projects. She strives to artfully combine technical design, client expectations, and creative expression.

In his three years with Randall-Paulson, Cody has worked on over 6 million square feet of industrial projects in various phases of design and construction, including over 30,000 square feet of speculative office space. Cody has gained experience in our various sectors, including manufacturing, mission critical, and childcare. Cody is a designer who is always seeking ways to expand his knowledge and skillset to address the challenges ahead.

She recently completed the Associated Builders and Contractors of Georgia Future Leaders Program and continues to seek growth within the Leadership Council at RPA.

Jeff has more than 15 years of experience working in a variety of roles, from initial client input meetings to on-site construction administration. As Senior Project Leader, Jeff leads and oversees the design process for manufacturing, industrial, and build-to-suit facilities. Ensuring that they align with client expectations, budget constraints, and local codes. He collaborates with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and clients to translate project goals into successful designs. He provides guidance and mentorship to others fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Jeff enjoys serving the community by volunteering with local STEM programs to teach and educate about Architecture. He is an Eagle Scout and also serves in his local church which provides a wide range of service opportunities.

Vice President
John has over thirty years of experience in the construction industry, with most of that time being design-focused primarily on industrial, manufacturing, cold-storage, and distribution facilities. With a deep knowledge of and experience in tilt-up construction and design, he consistently seeks out opportunities to expand the practice and appreciation of tilt-up across all markets, and continually endeavors to inspire RPA designers to push the design limits of this building typology.
As a Principal, John takes a lead role in setting the strategic vision of the firm – not only in ensuring continued high client satisfaction but also in growing RPA’s client base, and geographic reach, as well as further developing the professional and design acumen of RPA’s architects and designers. He’s an active member of AIA, NAIOP, TCA, USGBC, is NCARB certified and licensed in twenty-two states.
Outside of the office, John’s primary creative outlet is exploring color and texture as an abstract artist. Other creative pursuits include photography, furniture design, music, writing, and the study of Stoic philosophy. He’s a guitarist, an avid reader, and a constant seeker of new knowledge.

Marcus has over 25 years of architecture experience, specializing in mixed-use, hospitality, and retail projects. As the Architect overseeing all commercial projects, he manages everything from feasibility studies to concept design and completion. His portfolio includes diverse project types such as master planning, breweries, hotels, mall retrofits, and mixed-use developments in walkable communities, demonstrating his expertise in historically sensitive areas.
Passionate about good design and creative solutions, Marcus serves as a source of inspiration for the entire studio. He frequently expresses his ideas through pencil drawings and watercolors, believing that good design should also be sustainable and promote health.
Beyond his work, Marcus actively contributes to his community. He served on the Advisory Committee for the City of Roswell Historic District Masterplan and was a longstanding member of the City of Roswell Design Review Board.

Melissa is a graduate of Greenville Technical College, Associate of Applied Science – Construction Engineering Technologies program. She is certified as a Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) with Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) and has over 5 years of experience. As a Specifications Writer, Melissa oversees all specification efforts for Randall-Paulson and has experience in many sectors including industrial, commercial, hospitality, government, K-12 and higher education, faith-based, and more. Her passion lies in the details and she works to ensure drawings and specifications are two pieces of the same puzzle.
In her free time, she enjoys crafting, traveling with her husband, and spending time with their golden retriever, Henry.

He enjoys the industrial building type and working with concrete and steel to create unique and pleasing aesthetics to support his client’s vision. Rob’s strength is project management and he takes pride in seeing every project reach successful completion.

Sabrina has over twenty-five years of administrative experience with twenty+ of those years in the Architectural Industry. She is an Associate in the firm and has earned her Society for Design Administration (SDA) Fellowship.
In her role at RPA, she oversees administration operations for the firm. Within that role, she is the contract administrator and office manager. Throughout her tenure in the company, she has worked with marketing, finance, project administration, strategic planning, and leadership. She is the Executive Assistant to the Principals of RPA and helps to maintain the Open-Book Management philosophy of the firm’s culture.
Outside of the Firm, she has served on a National Level for SDA, a local level for SDA, and many committee positions.

Healthcare Sector Leader
Zahra has over two decades of design experience, she has successfully completed a wide range of interesting healthcare projects from lobby, exam and administrative space renovations to the design of entire new medical centers. As Healthcare Sector Leader, she oversees all healthcare projects and manages client relationships. Zahra is experienced in the full range of design services from programming to conceptual and preliminary design, through construction documents and construction phase services. In addition to her design qualifications, Zahra is an NCIDQ Accredited Interior Designer and a LEED Accredited Professional, and she incorporates sustainable design strategies in each of her projects. Among Zahra’s strengths is her attention to detail with a particular focus on the specific compliance issues in healthcare work.
