This is the first KTW/NIfCO plant in the United States of America for a German car parts company that manufactures parts for BMW. This facility will be producing finished interior parts comprised of injection-molded plastic, formed metal, and wood.
The facility includes a ± 142,491 SF industrial space for manufacturing and storing parts and is supported by a ± 9,604 SF main office and shipping office. The main office includes a quality control testing lab and there is space on the site to expand the facility to increase production as demand for parts increases.
This is one of several projects that RPA has collaborated with Evans General Contractors for international manufacturing clients. The structure is a pre-engineered metal building frame that utilizes both insulated metal panels and sandwiched batt insulation panels for a skin. There is glazing in the warehouse with windows and skylights in the office to provide ample light. Both sections of the building have TPO roofing with perimeter downspouts.
