This 111,470 SF project is a multi-functional warehouse, cold storage, and distribution center for Whole Foods. The owner’s goal was to make a functional distribution and office building that reflected Whole Foods’ mission and core beliefs. Towards that end, RPA incorporated the following green ideas and concepts into the building design to help make the building environmentally responsible:

• Solar panels
• Rainwater cistern
• 85% post-consumer content carpet and tiles
• FSC labeled sustainable wood flooring
• Interior sustainable wood and water feature
• Architectural metal canopies and rain chains are found around the exterior of the building
• Covered grill and patio area
