This free-standing, dual tenant building brings the Georgia Division of Family & Child Services (DFCS) and the Georgia Division of Child Support Services (CSS) under a single roof. Long-lasting, low-maintenance materials were selected for the exterior to minimize long-term life-cycle costs, benefitting both government and taxpayers. Through scale, material, texture, and color, this project focused on positive customer experience and interaction with both the DFCS and CSS.

Building elements focused on:

• Dual tenant space, with a focus on separation and security between tenants
• Family-friendly interior spaces
• Observation rooms to improve the safety of interactions between staff and customers
• Respite and recharge zones for staff members
• Multi-functional, flexible interior spaces for staff use
